From 12th to 14th of July, get ready to immerse yourself in a weekend packed with sensational live music, the most extensive array of barbecue delights you’ve ever laid eyes on, and a vast selection of beers from all corners of the globe. It’s the kind of event that brings together a tight-knit community of beer enthusiasts, foodies, and music lovers alike, all under one roof.
Headlining the musical extravaganza are some of Australia’s most iconic acts. The Australian Rock Collective (ARC), featuring members of Powderfinger, Spiderbait, You Am I, and Jet, will kick things off with a bang on Friday, followed by a special collaboration performance by Bad // Dreems & Friends on Saturday. And for the families and the young at heart, the legendary Peter Combe will be taking to the stage on Sunday to spread joy with his timeless tunes.
But the music is just the beginning. With over 1000 beers on offer, sourced from breweries near and far, beer aficionados are in for a treat. And let’s not forget about the food – the festival’s BBQ lineup is a carnivore’s dream, featuring everything from US low’n’slow to Argentinean delights.
For those eager to learn more about the brewing industry, there will be masterclasses and debates led by industry experts, including ABBF’s Beer Ambassador, Ryan Davidson. It’s a chance to delve deeper into the world of craft beer and gain some insider knowledge while you’re at it.
Co-Director of the Beer & BBQ Festival, Aaron Sandow, emphasises the festival’s importance in supporting struggling industries: “‘Ale We Need Is Love’ is more than just a motto; it’s a rallying cry for the community to come out and be our best selves together, arm in arm and beer in hand.”
So, whether you’re a seasoned festival-goer or a first-timer looking for an unforgettable experience, mark your calendars for the Adelaide Beer & BBQ Festival. It’s a weekend filled with good vibes, great food, and even better company. Tickets are on sale now, so don’t miss out on the party of the year!
