The creative team behind the Lucky Dumpling Market is working closely with the annual OzAsia Festival to deliver this year’s event. This market is known for its diverse food choices, catering to meat-lovers, vegans, and vegetarians alike, with several new vendors joining this season.
Last year, 140,000 people visited the market, and organisers hope to see just as many, if not more, this year as the weather warms up. More than 20 vendors will be offering their delicious dishes, with 9 of them making their debut this year.
Among the new vendors is Ong Vietnamese Kitchen, the sister restaurant of the popular Noi Vietnamese Eatery.

Elena Kirschbaum, co-director of Lucky Dumpling Market and Gluttony, can hardly hold her excitment.
“We are delighted to bring back the Lucky Dumpling Market for its eighth spring season. There’s nothing better than enjoying dumplings and drinks on the grass by the Torrens while listening to live music from fantastic OzAsia Festival artists.”
Lovers of the highly acclaimed Shōgun series will be happy to hear the popular Sake Bar will return, showcasing traditional Japanese culture with its unique timber design.
During last years event, Saturdays and Sundays were filled with excited crowds enjoying the food and atmosphere. For those who prefer a little more space, Tuesday to Thursday will offer a calmer experience.
The OzAsia Festival stage will feature live music from various artists, including the Australian Music Showcase and a closing concert by L-FRESH The Lion. There will be entertainment for all ages, along with activities that celebrate diverse Asian cultures and complement the wide range of food and drinks available.
