Monarto Safari Park announces more exclusive safari tours

Monarto Safari Park has announced the release of additional Premium Safari Tours in response to popular demand. This exciting development offers visitors a fantastic opportunity to explore the park's Wild Africa precinct, which has recently opened to the public, allowing for a deeper connection with the natural surroundings and its awe-inspiring wildlife.

Guests can step aboard the open-sided Safari Landcruiser, which provides a unique chance to get up close and personal with some of Africa’s most incredible species. Expect to see Southern White Rhinos, graceful giraffes, and Scimitar-horned Oryx, all in a stunning setting that replicates the African landscape.

Each tour includes a personal guide who will lead participants into the unique landscapes of two habitats: Etosha and the newly opened Amboseli.

As the vast plains of Etosha unveil themselves across 63 hectares, visitors can admire mixed herds of antelope, Eland, and the majestic Southern White Rhinos as they graze against breathtaking backdrops. The guide will ensure a memorable experience as they share fascinating facts about the animals and their habitats.

One of the highlights of this Premium Safari Tour is the chance to step off the Landcruiser and savour a moment of tranquillity while enjoying morning tea inside the Etosha habitat, surrounded by wildlife. This setting provides one of the best photography spots in the park, making it a perfect opportunity for guests to capture memories of their encounter with nature.

The tour also includes a visit to Amboseli, where guests can observe the world’s fastest land animal, the Cheetah, in their natural habitat. As visitors watch these incredible animals in action, they will gain insight into their behaviours and the importance of conservation efforts to protect these magnificent creatures.

For those interested in a unique encounter, the tour includes a special visit to the hippo habitat, where guests will have the opportunity to see the magnificent Nile hippos, Brindabella and Pansy, up close. This experience provides a rare chance to learn about these fascinating animals and their vital role in the ecosystem.

Participants will embark on a walk through the habitat of the Ring-tailed Lemurs, where they can observe one of Australia’s largest lemur troops in their natural surroundings. This immersive experience allows visitors to connect with wildlife in a way that is both engaging and educational.
