Helping people live independently on their own terms as they age, Police HomeCare Services believes that trust, value and a planned focus on innovation are essential as it continues to evolve its holistic care services for clients.

Offering services to the broader South Australian community, Police HomeCare Services, which is part of the Lifestyle Plus Group, provides comprehensive in-home support for both aged and disability care.

Police HomeCare Services General Manager, Stephen Wilkinson, said offering a holistic approach to in-home support was a key focus of their care model and their growth strategy.

“There’s no denying we have an ageing population, and as people increasingly delay retirement in the cost of the living crisis, we’re seeing a new wave of older retirees who are requiring additional in-home support,” he said.

“Police HomeCare Services is committed to delivering high quality care to boost wellness and general health of individuals through our comprehensive service offering which includes domestic support, personal care, community access, behavioural support, allied health services and complex care.”

Police HomeCare Services Managing Director, Wayne Boden, said: “We also recognise that advancing technology is critical for the future of the aged care and disability sectors so people can remain living independently at home.

“We’re exploring cutting-edge technology as part of our holistic in-home care model.

“Through technological advancements, there is the potential to reduce demand on our hospital system, while also meeting the complex needs of our My Aged Care and NDIS clients.”

In addition to Police HomeCare Services in-home services, it also has an onsite Wellness Centre at its Carrington Street headquarters in the city as part of its ongoing commitment to boost the overall health and wellbeing of the South Australian community.
