Let’s save the Queen, darlings!

This festive season, give a gift with heart, history, and a touch of glamour.

Introducing Save the Queen Gin — a limited-edition spirit that we think it pretty fabulous, not only delicious but bottled for a good cause.

By purchasing a bottle, you’ll be supporting the History Trust of South Australia’s restoration of Priscilla, the iconic bus from The Adventures of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert announced earlier this year.

In partnership with the History Trust of South Australia, Fossey’s Distillery created Save the Queen Gin to help fund the restoration of Priscilla. With every bottle sold, all proceeds will go directly towards reviving this iconic bus and preserving her legacy, ensuring her role in the new exhibition dedicated to The Adventures of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert.

Since her debut on the big screen in 1994, Priscilla, the iconic bus from The Adventures of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert, has stood as a powerful symbol of freedom, love, and pride, capturing the essence of the LGBTQIA+ community’s spirit and resilience.

After filming ended, the whereabouts of Priscilla was unknown. Priscilla had been left to the elements for about 16 years and was exposed to bushfires in late 2019/early 2020. In what can only be described as a miracle, Priscilla avoided extensive fire damage.

Having endured the harsh conditions of the Australian outback, and even the devastation of the 2019 New South Wales bushfires, Priscilla now requires restoration to reclaim her place as a cultural icon.

A beloved bestseller from Fossey’s, now with a stunning new look created just for Priscilla, Save the Queen Gin has citrus flavours yet is beautifully smooth, and as bold in flavour as it is in purpose.

Once restored, Priscilla will feature as the centrepiece of a new exhibition at the National Motor Museum in Birdwood. A limited number of bottles are available, so order now!
