One of the country’s longest running food and beverage festivals, Tasting Australia, has announced Journey Beyond as the festival’s new Presenting Partner for 2025 and beyond.
The announcement comes as the first event of the 2025 program is revealed: Tasting Australia by Train: Africola X Parwana. This event, operated by Journey Beyond, will return in 2025 after a hugely successful sold-out debut in 2024.
The 10-hour culinary journey will travel from Melbourne to Adelaide aboard The Ghan’s dining and lounge carriages, featuring a collaboration between the Ayubi family of Adelaide’s Parwana and Duncan Welgemoed of Africola
Journey Beyond is Australia’s largest experiential tourism group, operating 16 brands across the country, including the iconic 95-year-old rail experience, The Ghan.
The partnership with Tasting Australia is expected to further showcase South Australia’s exceptional food, drink, and travel experiences during the festival.
The festival runs from 2 to 11 May 2025 across Adelaide and regional South Australia. Tickets for the 2025 festival go on sale on Thursday, 5 December.
