Adelaide Chamber Singers kicks off its 40th anniversay season with the healing and transformative performance, Heal You, composed by Anna Meredith.

With Heal You, I wanted to explore the light and space between emotion and functionality – a space women inhabit so well. That ability to feel deeply, particularly when wounded or troubled, but still move through life successfully, is so often the situation women find themselves in,” says Christie Anderson, Adelaide Chamber Singers’ Artistic Director.

“With contemporary composers such as our title piece by Anna Meredith, we lean into the power of music and the poignancy of our most challenging and vulnerable moments, with depth, integrity and glorious singing invoking peace and transformation,” she adds.

Heal You is performed at Adelaide Town Hall on Thursday, 13 March at 7:30pm and is presented in partnership with Adelaide Festival.
