A seamless fusion of cello, violin, synths, beats, and vocals creates sweeping, cinematic soundscapes that transport you through the cosmos, enhanced by bespoke visuals.
Set beneath the Planetarium’s 8m domed ceiling, with 5.1 surround sound and full-dome video projection, this is an immersive experience like no other. As you are enveloped in K Mak’s rich blend of classical, alternative, and electronic music, you may just leave your body behind.
“I want to move people in a way they haven’t been moved before,” says Kathryn McKee, the cellist, singer, and creator behind K Mak.
With the cello recently named Instrument of the Year in the ABC Classic poll, she’s certainly on the right path.
