The jam-packed Vintage & Vinyl event in the Adelaide Hills takes place on Saturday, April 20th and Sunday, April 21st. Sidewood Estate has designed a special experience for each day: Saturday is curated for adults only, while Sunday is perfect for the whole family. Immerse yourself in everything the Adelaide Hills has to offer and make a weekend of it.
Sidewood Estate Ambassador Serena Moorghen said that this is one of their most popular events all year, with this year expected to be the biggest one yet.
“From the moment you arrive, you will be spoilt for choice. Delicious food choices, amazing wines and cider and entertainment all to the cool tunes! What’s not to enjoy!” she said.
The weekend kicks off with an adults only (18+) event that is set to delight the senses. On arrival you will receive your wristband, a Sidewood wine glass to keep and a complimentary drink token to have your first drink on the house.
The annual Grape Stomping Competition is back again, giving guests a chance to show off their stomping skills and win some great prizes.
Learn the impressive art of Sabrage, a lifetime skill that will never get old! Using a Sabrage sword, you will learn to open a bottle of sparking with great fanfare! This session requires a booking – so get in quick before you miss out.
Enjoy Sidewood’s warm hospitality all day, where their talented chefs will be serving delicious wood oven pizzas, spit-roasted meats and other delightful menu items. Pair that with Sidewood Wines and Ciders which will be pouring all day, along with local guests Uraidla Brewery & Glen Ewin who will be providing free tastings.
If you loved the Saturday, be sure to come back on Sunday too with the rest of your family for the Vintage & Vinyl family-friendly event.
Adults will be able to soak up the day with Sidewood Wines and Ciders, as well as other local ciders and beers that will be flowing all day. And the kids will be able to enjoy a day of fun with face painting, chocolate tastings from Red Cacao Chocolate, the nature play area and live music all afternoon from Jake Daulby and his band. Expect wood oven pizzas, paella and other fabulous items on their menu.
