The South Australian Country Women’s Association’s (SACWA) scone pop-up will return to the Adelaide Central Market at the Community Kitchen on Friday 24 and Saturday 25 March.
Following the popular pop-up in September 2021, the much-loved community organisation will return for 2 days only to sell their famous freshly made scones, homemade jam and scone mix.
Adelaide Central Market General Manager, Jodie Kannane said; “we’re excited to welcome SACWA back to the Market. The Market community has been truly supportive of SACWA and we expect to see huge demand for their amazing scones again.”
In 2021, their week-long Market pop-up saw the dedicated team of volunteer women bake and sell over 7,500 scones for customers to enjoy at home.
SACWA’s pop-up stall will be open 9:00am – 8:00pm on Friday 24 March and 8:00am – 3:00pm (or until sold out) on Saturday 25 March for takeaway scones, jam and scone mix.
Deputy State President, Sharyn Muller said; “our scones are always very well received amongst Market shoppers. We’re delighted to be offered the opportunity to showcase our Association and connect with the wider community once again.”
All funds raised will go directly to SACWA, furthering their mission to support the welfare and living conditions of women and children across the state.
