Launched in October 2009, Bowerbird has spent 15 years supporting and shining a spotlight on both established brands and emerging designers. The event continues to serve as an incredible launchpad, inviting local talent to connect with Adelaide’s community.
At this November event, expect a stunning collection of homegrown products, alongside a mix of interstate brands, carefully selected to reflect the spirit of Australian creativity. Under the direction of Peggy Byrne, Bowerbird is known for celebrating everything from unique homewares and stylish fashion to artisan goods that embody heart and soul. Peggy highlights this anniversary as a “major milestone” and a testament to the creative growth Bowerbird has championed over the years. “I am grateful to our audience for their fantastic support,” she shared, encouraging visitors to embrace buying locally this holiday season.
To mark this milestone, Bowerbird is rolling out a weekend packed with festive activities and exclusive offers. Look out for exciting promotions, bundle deals, and limited editions from the array of brands on display. Plus, Friday night is a 2-for-1 entry, so grab a friend, sip on some bubbles, and browse the latest creations! The excitement continues all weekend with ‘Golden Ticket’ prize draws, where a lucky few will win gifts worth over $100, with every designer holding a ticket for a chance at daily prize draws.
Adding a festive touch, Santa himself will make a special appearance, bringing holiday joy to families and children. Visitors can drop off letters to Santa, and he’ll be on hand for photos on Sunday. Proceeds from donations will benefit Catherine House, supporting women experiencing homelessness in South Australia—a wonderful way to give back this season.
New designers exclusive to this event include Blacbrail, Ellee The Label, Jungle Cat Club, and many others bringing fresh, unique creations to Bowerbird. Each brand offers something special, from one-of-a-kind accessories and jewellery to hand-crafted homewares inspired by everything from nature to Italian culture.
For those keen to get hands-on, Bowerbird is also offering a range of workshops for both adults and kids.
