Step back in time at Bay to Birdwood with 90s ticket prices

Tickets for the Bay to Birdwood Finish Festival are back to 1994 prices for this year only—experience a fantastic display of vintage vehicles and family fun on Sunday, 20th of October!

Get ready for a nostalgic ride as the Bay to Birdwood’s Finish Festival returns on Sunday, 20th of October, offering general admission tickets at 1994 prices! In response to the rising cost of living, the History Trust of South Australia has rolled back ticket prices, making this incredible event more accessible for families and car enthusiasts.

For this year only, an adult ticket is just $14.50, and a family ticket for two adults and up to three kids is only $25—savings of up to $30! Paul Rees, Head of Museums, Marketing & Major Events at the History Trust, believes this initiative will allow more people to experience one of the world’s greatest historical motoring events. “We want to make this incredible event more affordable for enthusiasts, their families, and friends,” he said.

The festival promises a fantastic showcase of over 1,500 vintage, veteran, classic, and modern classic vehicles, spanning from 1904 to 1994. Enthusiasts can catch the first glimpse of these stunning vehicles at Barra^ Reserve in West Beach, with the first departures starting at 8:15 am and arrivals at the National Motor Museum in Birdwood from 9:30 am onwards.

To add to the fun, visitors are encouraged to dress in their best 90s and pre-90s outfits, enhancing the event’s nostalgic atmosphere. In addition to the incredible vehicles, ticket holders can enjoy a day full of entertainment, including Fashions on the Field, delicious food and drink, and the chance to meet the proud owners of these historical cars.

With gates opening for general admission at 10 am, the Bay to Birdwood is not just a car show—it’s a multi-generational experience perfect for families and friends. Plus, at these prices, it’s cheaper than a regular visit to the Motor Museum, which will be open all day as part of the event.

Don’t miss this chance to step back in time and save big while enjoying a day filled with motoring history. Tickets are available now, but hurry—limited spots are at these special prices. Book online to avoid disappointment!
