More than 500 team members came together in late July, while also celebrating 60 years of ECH helping South Australians get more out of life.
ECH CEO Claire Scapinello expressed her gratitude to the team for their invaluable contributions to the workplace and to supporting ECH’s residents and clients.
“It is our team that make ECH a great place to work every single day,” she said.
“They support each other, work together, and have the interests of our clients, residents and their carers at the heart of everything they do.”
Sue Sheehan, who has worked at ECH for 21 years, was this year’s ‘Employee of the Year’ award recipient
“Sue consistently shows care for clients, residents and her colleagues,” Claire said.
“She provides high quality services and works in a safe way, all while looking out for others.
“With Sue, our Crichton Court residents are in safe and capable hands. Her approachable personality has meant she’s a favourite with residents, and she’s very much missed when it’s her day off.”
Also recognised for long-term service at the awards night was Rosemary Baker, who was celebrated on stage for her 40 years with ECH and presented a gift.
