In the lead-up to Monarto Safari Resort bookings opening on 3 February, FIFTY+SA takes a glimpse into luxury and the wildlife experiences, exclusive only to resort guests.

Opening on 28 May, the Monarto Safari Resort promises to deliver an unforgettable experience for visitors seeking both relaxation and adventure.

Located just an hour’s drive from Adelaide, this multimillion-dollar resort features 78 stylish guest rooms and 20 premium safari tents, all set within the expansive Monarto Safari Park.

Managed by Australian tourism group, Journey Beyond, the resort offers world-class amenities, including a serene spa, two swimming pools, and versatile conference and dining spaces. It also promises immersive wildlife encounters, allowing guests to observe native and exotic animals just metres away. The park is home to iconic endangered species like southern white rhinoceroses, cheetahs, zebras, giraffes, and hippopotamuses.

A wooden deck surrounds a pool, offering a scenic view of the lush countryside in the background.

Exclusive experiences and breathtaking views

Monarto Safari Resort guests will also enjoy special access to the park’s Wild Africa precinct, with private tours, custom safari vehicle rides, and sundowner drinks and canapés while watching wildlife roam across the open plains. With its stunning waterhole views, the resort offers a tranquil escape into nature.

Conservation at the heart of the resort

A portion of each room rate will support Monarto Safari Park’s vital conservation programs, making every stay not just a luxury escape but a contribution to preserving these remarkable species.

Monarto Safari Resort is another milestone in Journey Beyond’s investment in South Australia, which also includes their recent partnership with the long-running Tasting Australia food and beverage festival.

Bookings for the resort will open on 3 February. To learn more and plan your visit, head to monartosafariresort.com.
